December 13th, 9:30-11:00am Cloth Diapering Workshop
Now stocking Fuzzi Bunz Cloth Diapers (November 18, 2008)
We've had many of our customers asking if we carried Fuzzi Bunz diapers, and now we are excited to say that we do! We received our first shipment in time for our Grand Opening Celebration, and have a two full shelves of the original pocket diaper. Come have a look when you're in the neighborhood.
Thanks to Everyone for a Great Grand Opening Celebration (November 16, 2008)
Diaper Lab wants to thank all of our customers and friends for joining us last weekend for our Grand Opening Celebration. We had a great turnout, and were thrilled to welcome so many people who are as excited about cloth diapers as we are, as well as those who were curious but not sure where to start. We gave away $1,000 in products and services which had been donated by our vendors and local merchants and want to thank all of them for their support as well.
If you missed the celebration, don't worry, we'll have more cloth diapering events at the store in the future, and of course come by at any time to see what all of the excitement is about!
Diaper Lab Grand Opening Celebration Scheduled for Saturday, November 15th (November 1, 2008)
Diaper Lab will celebrate the opening of our new store with a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, November 15th from 10am to 4pm. We will be having cloth diaper demonstrations, activities for families and kids, and over $1000 in product raffles! More details coming soon!
Diaper Lab is now open at 201a Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA! (October 13, 2008)
A few of you have already stopped by to see our new retail location in Somerville, but if you've been waiting, wait no longer! Though we are still assembling a few more things from Ikea and working on the final set-up, we are open for business and ready to show you the best in modern cloth diapers. We are still planning a grand opening celebration in early November, so look for a date here in the near future!
Our current hours are Tuesday 10am to 6pm; Wednesday 1pm to 6pm; Thursday 10am to 7pm; Friday 10am to 6pm; and Saturday 10am to 3pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
Diaper Lab is Moving! (September 30, 2008)
With so much outpouring of interest in the new cloth diapers, and a storefront opportunity we couldn't resist, Diaper Lab is making the move to our very own retail shop at 201a Highland Avenue in Somerville. Our new location is near the Somerville Hospital and only a short distance from our old location at Twinkle Star! To help keep our expenses low we are relocating immediately, and we will be open for business on Friday October 3rd.
If you are desperate for an extra diaper before Friday, we can probably ring you up at the new location, but please call us at 617-504-0370 to make sure we're there first!
We look forward to seeing you in our new location after this Friday, and be certain to watch for an announcement of a big event in a few weeks to celebrate our move!
E-mail and Shopping Cart Outages (September 25, 2008)
[UPDATED 9/30] Because of the move to our new retail location, we don't expect to have online shopping back in service until Monday October 6th. However, if you are in the area, come join us starting Friday, October 3rd at our new retail location!
Wondering why you haven't heard from us recently? We've been having some serious technical difficulties recently, and have moved to a new hosting provider to address the situation. Luckily we will have e-mail back soon, but it will take us a bit longer to get our shopping cart back on-line.

New Product Offerings (September 14, 2008)
While attending the gigantic ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas Diaper Lab was able to add several new vendors and products! We are excited that we will soon have diapers from Bummis, Kissaluvs, Rump-a-roos, and Bumkins.
We know many of you have been asking for Bummis and Bumkins, and we are very excited to be able to offer the fantastic wraps and covers from each. Kissaluvs is known for having a great fitted diaper for newborns which we will be stocking, and we are very excited by the Rump-a-roos one-size diaper which has been getting excellent reviews! All of our products are on order and we expect to see them in the next few weeks, so check back to see when they arrive on the shelves!
Extended Fall Hours (September 14, 2008)
Diaper Lab returns from vacation with new extended hours! We will now have a cloth diapering consultant available to talk with you Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6pm, with a late night on Thursdays when we will be open until 8pm. We will also be open on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. Diaper Lab will be closed on Sundays and Mondays. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Diaper Lab Vacation Schedule, 8/30 to 9/12 (August 24, 2008)
Salina and family will be on a much needed vacation from August 30th thorough September 12th. But fear not, you'll still be able to shop!
- Diaper Lab at Twinkle Star will be staffed during our new fall hours (10-6 Tuesday - Friday, 10-3 Saturday), and we've been getting Ann and Ariella (who you may have already seen at the shop) up to speed on all things cloth.
- We won't be holding any extended consultations during this time, but our monthly workshop on the 13th is still scheduled.
- No delays are expected for online orders, so buy as much as you need and we'll be sure to get it out to you!
When we return in September we will also have updates on the latest cloth diapering products from the ABC Kids Expo (so it's not all vacation) and will be posting new fall hours. Check back for more updates!
Diaper Lab on the Daily Candy Kids (August 18, 2008)
Diaper Lab was sweet enough to make the Boston edition of the Daily Candy Kids! We continue to be excited by all of the great press we're getting around Boston and happy to add the Daily Candy to the list.
New Summer Hours at Twinkle Star (August 9, 2008)
For the month of August, Diaper Lab at Twinkle Star Boutique will be closed on Sundays. Enjoy the sun and we'll see you on Sundays in the fall!
Diaper Lab Featured on Parents TV (July 22, 2008)
See Diaper Lab owner Salina Gonzales Frazier talk about cloth diapering options on a Parents TV feature spot! (Skip the disposables discussion and fast forward to 3:50 in the video to see Salina). The video was just released today and will be available on-line as well as through the Parents TV cable On-Demand channel.

Free monthly cloth diaper workshops start June 28th (June 16, 2008)
Diaper Lab will begin offering free cloth diapering workshops in June. In these informative hour-and-a-half sessions Diaper Lab owner Salina Gonzales Frazier will discuss the various cloth diapering options as well as laundering tips and caring for your diapers. Participants will have the opportunity to touch and feel all of the diapers in person as well as purchase items at the end of the workshop. The first workshop will be held on June 29th, with a full schedule posted on their website at http://diaperlab.com/visit/workshop.php
Diaper Lab opens retail location at Twinkle Star Boutique (June 2, 2008)
Diaper Lab is excited to announce the opening of our first retail location in the Boston area! We were lucky enough to be able to partner with the owners of the new Twinkle Star Baby Boutique in Ball Square, Somerville to provide area customers the largest retail selection of cloth diapers in the region. Cloth diapering products are available for sale whenever Twinkle Star is open, and we will have regular hours where a Diaper Lab diaper consultant will be available to talk about all of the great benefits of cloth diapers. One-on-one Diaper Lab consultations can still be scheduled for those interested in a personalized look at diapering options for their families.
