Bum Genius Elemental Diaper

We love these all-in-ones. They're really absorbent and rarely any sort of leakage. We send these to daycare, and our provider loves how easy they are to use. We recently stocked up as start to transition our growing baby from prefolds to AIOs. Love them! (Posted on 1/9/11)

The elemental is our favorite diaper, and for good reason: it's EASY to use, requires no stuffing or unstuffing, is (so far) 100% leak proof, is organic and is super trim. Cloth diapering parents know just how fluffy those butts can get, so it's great to use a product that, among other things, is low profile. I love the ease of tossing them into the pail, washing, and folding immediately. I am a BIG fan of the snaps. We also own several of the aplix versions from when they were still sold and I'm not crazy about them. Fortunately they are currently sold with snaps, because they are fabulous. I am a cloth diaper cheapskate but I will pay good money for these ones because they are so reliable and well made. All in all, our most trusted diaper in the stash! And bonus that we LOVE the new artist series prints. So classy and adorable! (Posted on 1/6/11)

I've been using one of these on my 10 weeks old daughter, now ~10.5 lbs, for about two weeks, and YES, it fits!!! It's nice to know, when spending so much on one diaper, that it will be with her from this young age through many many more lbs... It seems very absorbent, although of course she's little, so she's not a huge wetter, but it seems this will hold up well. It is the only diaper that comes out slightly damp from the dryer, but another hour or so hanging off the side of the crib seems to do the trick, so it's no big deal for me. Overall, Iike it enough that I just purchased a couple of additional ones! (Posted on 1/6/11)

I really like this diaper! It's so absorbant and so trim. It does take awhile to dry, but that's the only con I can think of. My son is about 30 lbs and this still fits him pretty well although the rise is getting a touch short. (Posted on 1/5/11)

I have been using the Bum Genius one-size AIO's for over 6 months now and I love them! My son is now 10 months old and weighs 19 pounds. He is on the second row of snaps for sizing. Only one of our BG's have this new snap closure. The rest are the old style velcro closure and I honestly am not sure why they changed the design. The velcro seems much more versatile and easy to use. The snaps are a bit of a pain especially with a wiggly kid on the changing table! That being said, they are fabulous. We RARELY have blow outs....even with the little one having loose stool for the past two weeks! They do take a while to dry (about 90 minutes on high), but that is really the only negative I can think of. Well worth the investment! (Posted on 2/10/10)
