Pocket

Pocket diapers are considered "modern" cloth diapers and are a two part system that consists of a waterproof outer, sewn to a soft inner and has a "pocket" opening in between for stuffing absorbency. The aborbent inserts that are "stuffed" into the pocket are usually microfiber inserts that are included with the purchase of the diaper. However, any absorbent insert will work inside the pocket and inserts can vary in aborbency and fabrics. Since the waterproof and absorbent parts of a pocket diaper are seperate, these diapers have to be put together or "stuffed" before putting on baby. But once stuffed they are as easy to use as a disposable. Elastic waists and legs along with snap or hook/loop closures make these a popular choice for many families!
