hat Mother Nature is a real smarty pants! Wool care is super easy!

Breast pad care is very similar to other wool care, but since there's no urine involved here, the lanolin doesn't get used up as quickly or in the same way. We recommend an initial lanolizing to maximize the effectiveness of the wool breast pads.

When there is only a little bit of milk, some women find that they don't need to wash the breast pads between uses. When there is a substantial amount of milk, however, they should be rinsed in warm water and then washed using a wool safe wash between uses. If the wash contains lanolin, let them soak for 15 minutes. After washing, roll in towel to squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry. They need a concentrated lanolin wash every month or so. We recommend a pea-sized amount of balm be rubbed into the breast pad at that time.
