Babywearing Carrier Clinic

back to course list

In this intensive clinic, we will focus on your carriers while you learn how to wear your baby or older child securely, discuss why babywearing is good for you and baby, and gain an understanding of different carrier options. You will then have the opportunity to try out carriers with our help, ask questions, and purchase any products you like at that time.

This workshop is geared towards parents/caretakers with babies four months and older who may already have carriers they have been using and wish to use more effectively, or who want to check out other carrier options. Attendance will be limited to 4 child/adult pairs per session to make sure everyone receives individual attention. A maximum of one child per adult, please. Please feel free to bring any carriers you currently own with you if you'd like help using them.

Then, check out our great selection of baby carriers from Moby, Baby Hawk, Sakura Bloom, Boba, Beco, Onya, Tula, and many others and learn what will work best for you and your baby. We look forward to seeing you, and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

About the InstructorS

Crystal Woller

Crystal was first introduced to babywearing when her first child was born in early 2011. A bit overwhelmed, she went to her first Boston Babywearers meeting for guidance. Her love of babywearing drove her to become a leader with Babywearing International of Greater Boston and help caregivers learn about babywearing.

Jen Patashnick

Before Jen's first child even was born, she was excited to wear him, and had collected several carriers. However, it wasn't until she learned of mei tais that her babywearing adventure really began. She has now had the pleasure of wearing both her children for extended periods in every style of carrier and enjoys helping novice babywearers realize how wonderful and life-changing a good carrier can be!
