The Capri Diaper Cover is an easy to use cover that comes in 2 sizes with snap closures. These reusable and waterproof covers have true leg gussets to hold in wetness and messes. The adjustable rise snaps allow the cover to grow with your baby. The 2 rows of snaps at the waist allow you to adjust the fit at the waist and legs.

Inside the Capri Diaper Cover, there are "stay-put" flaps to keep inserts in place. Use the Capri Cover with absorbent Capri Inserts. You can also use prefolds, other types of inserts and even disposable inserts. When changing your baby's diaper, the Capri can be wiped clean and reused as long as it isn't soiled.

Care & Use
Before Using the Diapers
Cotton diapers need to be pre-washed and dryed on hot with detergent at least three times. Doing so, will remove the plant oils from the fiber and will cause the diapers to fluff up and become absorbent. The diapers will continue to shrink and get thicker and more absorbent with a few more washes (Shrinkage was taken into account when manufacturing the diapers, no need to size up).

Washing Diapers
* Keep wet and dirty diapers in a diaper pail. Wash every 2-3 days.

* Pre-rinse diapers in cool water

* Wash diapers in a heavy warm/hot water with residue free detergent. The amount needed will vary depending upon your machine and soil level. In general begin by using 1/2 the amount as stated on the detergent’s container. Too much or too little may cause your diapers to possibly stink, leak, or leave baby with a rash. Use less or more detergent as needed.

* 2nd rinse should be used to make sure your diapers are rinsed clean.

* Tumble or line dry.

Important: Do not use fabric softener. It will coat the diapers making them water repellent and reduce the absorbency of the diaper. Be aware that if you use dryer sheets in your dryer for other laundry this can coat your dryer and transfer to your diapers.

Do not use bleach. This will cause the fabric's fibers to break down unnecessarily quickly.

Do not use diaper rash creams that contain fish oil or high concentrations of zinc oxide. If diaper cream is needed, use a protective liner between your baby's skin and the diaper. Waxy build up from diaper cream residue can cause your diapers to smell and repel moisture.

Stain Removal
If the diapers smell clean they are clean. But if stains are bothersome, use only mild products so as not to irritate the baby’s skin and/or cause the diapers to prematurely deteriorate. In most cases, laying the stained diapers out in the sun is the safest and most effective way of removing stains.
