How Does The Best Bottom System Work?
* Adjust front snaps to achieve the size needed
* Snap insert into diaper
* Put diaper on baby and go
* When baby needs a diaper change, snap out soiled insert and snap clean one in
* Put diaper on baby and go AGAIN
* Shell is wipe-able and can be used multiple times before washing (air dry between wearings)

How Many Will I Need?
You will need as many shells as your baby poos in a 2-3 day time period (newborns will need more than older babies). Poop generally stays on the insert but in some cases it may not, especially with runny newborn poop. However, it will stay in the diaper cover.

Three different size inserts in several different materials are available. You may not need all three sizes of inserts and can skip a size - it is all up to you! We recommend approximately 24 inserts per size.

In general most customers find they do well with approx 8 - 10 shells and 18-24 inserts per size.

Fit
Fits from birth to 35+ lbs. Special leg gussets help keep everything in and adjustable rise with four settings and overlapping closure in both snap and hook & loop make a good fit on a small or large baby.

Small: 8 lbs - 14 lbs • Medium: 11 lbs - 22 lbs • Large: 16 lbs - 35 lbs

Tips: This is a very trim fitting diaper so please be extra careful that none of the insert is sticking out of the shell. Also, after the diaper is on, pull the leg gussets out around baby's legs. This will guard against leaks and help avoid any red marks.

The entire shell is made with USA-made materials and all our products are proudly handcrafted in the USA at local factories helping to support the local economy and reduce our environmental impact. We use durable snaps and hook & loop, double layer of waterproof PUL creating a perfect no-leak sturdy shell with a wipe-able inside lasting for many washes.

Absorbency Options
We have created several different types of inserts to snap into the shell for everyday use. Mix and match to meet your baby's needs. All insert types are super trim.

Stay Dry Insert: 4 layers of super thirsty microfiber topped with a super soft no-pill fleece to pull wetness away from baby's bottom for a dry feeling.

Hemp/Organic Cotton Insert: 5 layers of hemp/certified organic cotton topped with a soft layer of hemp/certified organic cotton fleece. This insert is so trim you will be able to have your baby wear jeans again! **Note: Hemp inserts will shrink slightly during first washings making them the same size as the stay dry option.

Bamboo Insert: 6 layers of silky soft bamboo viscose. This is our trimmest insert yet, but no less absorbent!

Stay Dry Bamboo Inserts: 6 layers of bamboo viscose, topped with 1 layer of no-pill fleece.

Washing Instructions
Before first use the shells, stay dry inserts, and overnight inserts only need to be washed one time. Bamboo and Hemp/Organic Cotton inserts need to be washed 4-6 times to reach full absorbency. Hemp inserts will shrink slightly during first washings as expected.

Wash every 2-3 days. The Best Bottom system washes beautifully and takes up less space in your washing machine allowing more room for agitation to get your diapers super clean.

* Remove solids
* Reuse shell until soiled (usually several diaper changes)
* Separate shell from insert before washing
* Fold over hook/loop laundry tabs (if applicable)
* Rinse cold
* Wash warm/hot with 2-4 tablespoons of additive-free detergent (HE washers will require less, top loader washers will require more)
* Rinse warm/cool
* Tumble dry or line dry inserts
* Line dry or low tumble dry shells

** Do not use fabric softeners or thick rash creams with your diapers. If you need to use a rash cream, put a barrier (such as a flushable liner or wipe) between the baby and the diaper.
