Flats

Flat diapers consist of a square piece of absorbent cloth, often cotton or bamboo.  It is typcially around 27 inches square.   Square diapers need to be folded into a shape that is suitable to be put on the baby.  Flat diapers typically require a fastener such as a Snappi or pins.  This type of diaper requires a cover.

Flat diapers are the most affordable, but can be harder for some folk to understand.  They wash well and make great cleaning cloths when diapering is done.
